I like soft shackles around paint and around people. I still want to know where you refuse them — damaged eyes, unknown fibre history, or just habit.

Soft around paint and people. Steel when the eye is ugly or the fibre history is a shrug. Retire soft shackles that have lived a mystery life in a hot tray.
