How do you actually check track closures before a Friday knock-off?
I am trying to get out of the habit of trusting a Facebook pin from 2022.
For desert parks I start with the SA desert parks bulletin, then Parks Australia if it is a Commonwealth park, then a phone call if the page is stale. For state forests I use the local forestry / NPWS page and still assume a storm can rewrite it overnight.
What is your order of operations? I want a board habit we can point newcomers at — not a secret group.
