Cape York dry season — pacing, not a shopping list

Bamaga is not a trophy. It is a long string of decisions about heat, corrugations, and whether today’s crossing is still the one in last year’s video.

We travelled in the dry, carried more water than snacks, and treated every creek as new. No winch theatre. One soft recovery with boards on a well-used section because I chose a pretty line instead of the used one.
