I can change a tube. I cannot yet punch a plug in the rain without swearing. I have never laid boards under a spinning wheel on purpose.
Before a desert week I want a paddock syllabus: air down, board placement, strap briefing, UHF check, and walking a crossing.
What would you put on that list, in order? Guides I am using: outback driving and packing.

Syllabus I would run: radio check, air down / air up, walk a crossing, board placement, strap brief with a damper, plug a tyre, and a “we turn around” rehearsal. In that order.
Writing that on a card. Paddock this month.
Add: find the compressor in the dark, and say the spectator sentence out loud so it is not the first time.
